Hearts With Hands, Inc. is designated as one of the Buncombe County Emergency Management Logistics Support Units. Hearts With Hands, Inc. is also a member of the Buncombe County Bio Terrorism Task Force.

Clothing and Household Goods Mission
Hearts With Hands, Inc. distributes some of the clothing and household good it receives to Goodwill Industries of Asheville. Hearts With Hands, Inc. has a voucher program whereby burnout victims or those in need may receive the items they need at no charge.

Hearts With Hands, Inc. R.E.A.C.T. (Radio Emergency Associated Communications Team)
Hearts With Hands, Inc. has a R.E.A.C.T. and monitors citizen radio band frequencies during disasters or potentially disastrous situations.

Cuban Medical Mission
Hearts With Hands, Inc. collects and ships medical relief equipment and supplies to the island of Cuba in an effort to relieve human suffering there. In the year of 2000, Hearts With Hands, Inc. was the largest shipper of medical relief aid to Cuba.
